About NVSBE

National Veterans Small Business Engagement | December 9-11, 2014 | Powered by the Department of Veterans Affairs

The National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE) connects Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), other Federal Agencies and commercial Procurement Decision Makers (PDMs). NVBSE is VA’s premier event that provides VOSBs unique access to hundreds of PDMs committed to working with Veterans. Its unprecedented level of engagement will help entrepreneurs, especially Veterans, compete most effectively and win business. Newly titled, NVSBE promises to produce a high return of investment for its attendees. In addition, the Engagement Expo will host exhibitors and corporate representatives to demonstrate products and services.

The 4th annual NVSBE is hosted by VA. Each year, NVSBE grows and improves, incorporating the recommendations from attendees surveyed from prior years. NVSBE now utilizes new technology to position attendees most effectively to participate in Business Opportunities Sessions and Networking Roundtables.

Advocate for increased support of Veteran small business opportunities to add value to the VA mission. Create an extraordinary engagement experience for VOSBs and Procurement Decision Makers to build partnerships, maximize networking, and expand connections. Commit to the delivery of efficient and effective services that promote the expansion of VOSBs access to economic opportunities. Expand economic opportunities for VOSBs interested in doing business with VA. Strengthen relationships between the small business (community) and contractor communities (or contracting professionals), while providing solutions to minimize risks for both parties. Sustain productive and lasting relationships that ensure positive outcomes for NVSBE attendees and participants.
